How many people can ride in a helicopter?

• Each of our helicopters seats up to 7 passengers plus the pilot. Liberty helicopters primarily uses American Eurocopter Products. Our state-of-the-art Single and Twin Engine Jet Helicopters are climate controlled, providing heat and air conditioning, along with an expanded cabin, comfortably seating up to seven. Those aboard enjoy spectacular sights and photo opportunities unique to Helicopter Sightseeing.

What days of the year are Liberty Helicopters closed?

• None The Downtown Pier 6 Heliport is open Monday to Saturday from 9:00am to 6:30pm. Last flight time available at 6:00pm.

• The Midtown Manhattan VIP Heliport at 12th Avenue at West 30th Street is open Monday to Sunday 9:00am - 9:00pm. Last Flight is at 8:45pm.

• The New Jersey Paulus Hook Heliport is open Monday to Sunday. Flight times are available at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm for groups of 4 or more only.

What times can I book my flight ?

• You can indicate a preferred flight time from 9:00am to 8:45pm, dependent on Heliport, on the order form. All online reservations must call the number on your voucher 12 to 24 hours in advance to re-confirm an exact flight departure time and heliport.

Are private tours available?

Is parking available at the heliport?

• The closest parking garage to our VIP Heliport at West 30th Street and 12th Avenue is located at 29th Street between 11th and 12th Avenues. There is sometimes parking on the northbound side of the west side highway. The closest parking garage to our Downtown Pier 6 Heliport is located at the South Street Seaport. We are a five to ten minute walk from there. There is no parking at the Paulus Hook Pier location, but there is plenty of street parking and parking garages.

Are there any child restrcitions?

• Children that have reached their 2nd birthday must have their own seat, children under two can sit on their parents laps as per FAA

Payment:

Your Credit Card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected at time of booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Cards.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher

This Tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print voucher on your home/office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Call local number on your voucher 12 to 24 hours in advance to re-confirm the exact flight departure time and heliport. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged 50%. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a $10 per person administration fee. No shows will be charged full price. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%.

Liberty Helicopter Tours assumes no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, bad conditions of the road and other conditions beyond control, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers. Not responsible for loss or damage to property.

Meals, Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
